What documents do I need to present to get a compensation?

If you cover the expenses related to an insured event yourself, make sure to keep all the documents confirming the occurrence of the insured event and the amount of your expenses:
  • a bill from the hospital (printed on an official blank or with an authentic stamp) containing the following: the patient’s last name, the exact diagnosis, the date of applying for medical assistance, the prescribed medical products, their number and cost;
  • the doctor’s prescriptions containing the names of all the medical products;
  • documents confirming the payment for the medical products, provided medical services, etc. (cash and settlement documents, bills, bank records, etc.);
  • bills for phone calls (faxes) containing the phone number, the date, time and the cost of each phone call;
  • detailed bills for any other related services with their date and cost.
The expenses you covered will be compensated after you arrive in Ukraine according to the Insurance Contract. In order to get compensation, follow the procedure described in article How Do I Claim Compensation?
