What documents do I need to present to get a compensation?
If you cover the expenses related to an insured event yourself, make sure to keep all the documents confirming the occurrence of the insured event and the amount of your expenses:
- a bill from the hospital (printed on an official blank or with an authentic stamp) containing the following: the patient’s last name, the exact diagnosis, the date of applying for medical assistance, the prescribed medical products, their number and cost;
- the doctor’s prescriptions containing the names of all the medical products;
- documents confirming the payment for the medical products, provided medical services, etc. (cash and settlement documents, bills, bank records, etc.);
- bills for phone calls (faxes) containing the phone number, the date, time and the cost of each phone call;
- detailed bills for any other related services with their date and cost.
