If you are travelling with child, how you can find out the price of a ticket
Child under the age of 6 not occupying a separate seat, travels with an adult for free. When 2 or more children up to 6 years travel, only one child has the right to travel for free, the others should buy tickets.
Child aged 6 to 14 should travel with a child travel document. Usually, the discount for a child’s train ticket is 25% of the total price of the full fare ticket. You may find out the precise cost of the ticket if you press “Continue” button, and funds from your account will not be charged.
If you travel with a child under 14 years, you need to take a document along with you, which confirms the child’s age – birth certificate (passport, child’s travel document). It may be either the original or the certified copy.
When travelling abroad, child discount is provided only for children aged 5 to 10.
